The Poinsettia Festival is about family fun and raising funds for cancer research. Chances are that most people have had a loved one affected by cancer, which is why we have chosen to give to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation.  Below you will find many ways to give.  Our wish is that you will make the Poinsettia Festival a yearly tradition for your family or business.  We are proud to live and do business in Utah County and are excited to represent the charity that is found here.  If at anytime you have questions about the information below feel free to give me a call.

Sincerely,

Mike Taylor

All trees/wreaths are entered in the “Silent Auction” and will be on display for the duration of the festival or until they meet their minimum bid. Patrons bid on their choice of trees, wreaths, or other items up for auction; the highest bidder wins the opportunity to purchase the item.  All proceeds benefit the Huntsman Cancer Foundation.

SILENT AUCTION

  1. You may donate anything to the silent auction, but since it is close to Christmas we would like you to keep in mind gifts that may be given, maybe even things that can be given to children.  Silent auction items are to be dropped off at Highland Gardens by 6 PM Tuesday November 18, 2008.

TREE GUIDELINES

  1. Your tree may be any size, but MUST be made of artificial material. Trees & Ornaments are available through Highland Gardens at a 25% off discounted rate.

  2. Lights are required since they help the trees to show up.  Please provide an extension cord.  If you would like your extension cord returned, please label it with your name and plan to pick it up anytime after November 29th at Highland Gardens.

  3. WIRE ON ALL ORNAMENTS SECURELY!!!!  THIS IS MANDATORY!!!!  Someone will be checking your tree before you leave on set-up day.  The new owners of your lovely tree loose the magic when the ornaments fall off or break.  We realize that this takes extra time and appreciate your thoughtfulness in doing this.  (If you are using glass ornaments you may want to hot glue the ornament to the wire.)

  4. Your trees may be set up at the Highland Gardens Reception Center, Starting Wed. November 19, 2008 between the hours of 9:00 am 6:00 pm.  Please note that you must have your tree fully set-up by Thursday November 20, 2008 @ 6:00 pm.
